As VP of the Latin American Business Club at the Tepper School of Business, I used to recommend all students (Latino and non) to attend the annual NSHMBA Conference and Career Fair. It is an excellent way to meet recruiters from the nation’s top firms and practice your firm handshakes, elevator pitches, and of course, interviewing skills. This year’s conference will be held in Minneapolis. Target’s parties were always the highlight (for me anyway) — they always had a great salsa party, hopefully this year will be more of the same (I, alas, will be working and not attending).
